The Guide to Reich Tableware is a detailed and heavily illustrated reference book containing extensive historical exposition related to the broad range of personal (monogrammed), organizational (logos), and commemorative tableware of the 3rd Reich from the period of struggle starting in the early 1920’s to its demise in 1945. This tableware was used by the people and organizations that were the 3rd Reich. From private service’s such as Hitler, Eva Braun, Speer, Hess, etc. to organizations such as the SS, Red Cross, Hitler Youth, German Railway, the Armed Forces including the Wehrmacht, W-SS, Party Hotels and commemoratives such as the U-47 submarine, all are included. This book contains over 650 photos/graphics and over 60,000 words of text. The unique aspect of 3rd Reich tableware is that you can hold in your hand a piece of history that was held in the hand of the original history maker. This is an academic inquiry, a disinterested pursuit of truth, an effort to document this intriguing collectors corner, and a must for collectors and WWII history buffs. In addition, it uncovers little-known facts that illuminate the individuals and organizations included.

3rd Reich Special Trains is an in-depth exploration of this World War II area that was unique to the German War effort. In addition to descriptive details as to the efficacy of the early mobile headquarters concept, there is a secondary exposition focused on the tablerware used by specific personalities that directed the Nazi war effort from their specific Deutsche Reichsbahn (German Empire Railroad) trains and wagons. In a departure from previous books, not only is the metal flaatware covered but also the porcelain, glassware and linen. The questions as to how the Special Trains were organized, how they actually operated, their effectiveness and even their ultimate ends are all covered in the book. First hand descriptions are all included with proper attribution. Also included at the end of the Special Trains are several dozen new collectibles with explanatory text in a continuation of my earlier work The Encyclopedia of Third Reich Tableware. All this with over 240 pages and over 200 graphics. Remember, the pieces shown in this book were typically brought back by our WWII U.S. fighting men as souvenirs and as such should have a special place in our hearts.
