Nymphenburg Porcelain Large Serving Bowl from Adolf Hitler`s personal Formal Tableware at the Deutscher Hof

An incredibly rare snow-white porcelain Large Serving Bowl, specially produced by the Nymphenburg factory in Munich for Adolf Hitler`s personal formal tableware, used exclusively at the Deutscher Hof, Nürnberg.
The Bowl bears a gilt national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika to the front, the upper rim has a band of gilt surrounding the entire lip, the top rim, and rolled over into the inside. To the base can be found a dark blue-green Nymphenburg maker’s mark, an impressed Nymphenburg stamping, and also the impressed number ‘3’ which may indicate the model/pattern.

Hitler most commonly used Meissen tableware, though the Nymphenburg firm manufactured the formal dinnerware for smaller settings, including his train and Nürnberg’s Deutscher Hof hotel. While in Nürnberg Hitler stayed at the Deutscher Hof Hotel, he had a large room on the first floor with windows from which he could review his marching columns. In 1936 an extension was built at the hotel which provided Hitler with a balcony, commonly referred to as the Führer balcony.
