    Adolf Hitler Solid Silver Formal Honey/Sugar Spoon from The Führerbau, with provenance

    A superb solid silver Honey/Sugar spoon from Adolf Hitler’s personal formal silverware, it features an embossed Fuehrer Adler (the Leader’s Eagle) clutching a wreathed Swastika which is flanked by Hitler’s initials ‘A’ & ‘H’. The reverse side of the spoon has the impressed hallmarks; a crescent moon, the imperial crown, the silver purity mark ‘800′, and the imperial eagle. There is a fabulous impressed greek-key ‘Meander’ border along all edges of the front side of the spoon handle.

    Originally there are believed to have been six complete sets of 500 pieces, 3,000 pieces in total, commissioned by Albert Speer and manufactured by Bruckmann in the ‘formal pattern’ of silver flatware and tableware presented to Hitler on the event of his 50th birthday on 20th April 1939. The formal silverware sets were distributed among the places Hitler frequented the most; the ‘Berghof’ (Hitler’s mountain home), ‘Kehlsteinhaus’ (the Eagle’s Nest), the ‘Gasthaus’ (Guest House) at Obersalzberg, the ‘Braune Haus’ (the ‘Brown House’), the Führerbau in Munich, his ‘Prinzregentenplaz’ apartment in Munich, and the ‘Reichskanzlei’ in Berlin.

    The design for the AH Formal silverware is attributed to Adolf Hitler himself adding yet another level of desirable collectability to these pieces!

    The spoon comes complete with provenance documentation (copy) pertaining to it’s original acquaisition, along with a further 82 pieces of Adolf Hitler silver ware (and other items), by Mr. Baros Wilson of the 48th Combat Engineers, and subsequent sale to Mr. A.W. Wood in 1946. Mr Wilson had obtained the silver from the basement vault underneath the Führerbau in Munich, Germany in 1945.

    Condition:

    This beautiful little spoon displays minor surface marks  commensurate with age and use, a beautiful-looking display piece, a rare ‘Hitler’ personal item, complete with provenance, a very desirable and quite superb investment piece.

    The fork comes complete with provenance documentation (copy) pertaining to it’s original acquaisition, along with a further 82 pieces of Adolf Hitler silver ware (and other items), by Mr. Baros Wilson of the 48th Combat Engineers, and subsequent sale to Mr. A.W. Wood in 1946. Mr Wilson had obtained the silver from the basement vault underneath the Führerbau in Munich, Germany in 1945. A further document (copy) in the form of an Affidavit, relates to items from the Wilson/Wood silverware then being in the possession of Mr. Frank D. Gish, from who’s collection it was then sold on, yet again, on 10th August 1979.

    Lead Crystal White Wine Glass from Adolf Hitler’s Personal Table Service at The Berghof

    Absolutley stunning Lead Crystal White Wine Glass used at important events held at Adolf Hitler’s mountain residence in the Bavarian alps, The Berghof, this incredible piece is from Hitler’s Personal Table Service which was used exclusively by him and his immediate entourage.

    The wine glass bears an engraved left-facing (political) eagle and swastika which is flanked on either side by Hitler’s initials, ‘AH’. The top rim of the glass and its base are finished in gold trim. It has a facetted stem. To the underside of the base can be found the makermark for Master Glassmaker firm of Josephinenhütte.
    Josephinenhütte, a Silesian glassworks in the Sudeten Mountains, founded in 1842 by Count Leopold von Schaffgotsch and named after his beloved wife Josephine. The glassmaker Franz Pohl, head of Josephinenhütte, was a gifted creator and artistic pioneer who went beyond the boundaries of what was thought possible in glassmaking at the time. Thus, were created glass objects of technical sophistication and absolute beauty, which made the historic Josephinenhütte one of the most significant glassworks in Europe and the New World. The glassworks is still in practice to this day.
    In 1936 – 1937, as per their catalouge, they produced two designs of crystal glassware, the first being “Frohlinde” and the second pattern in the same year called “Josephine”, this beautiful example is a “Josephine“.

    Much of the Adolf Hitler personal silverware survived but the glassware is extremely rare to find.

    As mentioned, Adolf Hitler Personal Glassware is incredibly rare to find, the “Joshepine” pattern has been seen, briefly, in the past once at auction in 2011, also one or two have popped up on premium millitaria websites over the years, but have never lasted long.
    However, the “Frohlinde” pattern seems to be the more commonly found of these rare glasses, the most recent (that we have discovered) one showing up at a prestigious U.S. Auction House in February 2017, ‘Adolf Hitler Wine Glass captured by the 506th P.I.R.’, even though this beautiful glass had been broken off it`s stem and repaired it still fetched $4,500. (£3,635.)

    A truly stunning Adolf Hitler personal use item, an absolute must have for the diserning collector.

    Deutsche Reichsbahn Large Oval Serving Tray from Adolf Hitler’s Executive Dining Wagon 10 ‘242’

    Deutsche Reichsbahn Large Oval Serving Tray from Adolf Hitler’s Executive Dining Wagon 10 ‘242’

    A quite Superb Large oval serving tray, made from German heavy silver plate ‘Alpaka’ produced by Bruckmann for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
    The tray carries designation marks for Adolf Hitler’s Fuhurersonderzug ‘Amerika’, and in particular carriage number ‘242’ which was Hitler’s Executive dining wagon from 1937 to 1940.
    The tray is accentuated with a raised rounded band edge to the obverse and features a spectacular and finely detailed Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle with wreathed Swastika straddled by the letters D and R all in relief to the center top rim. To the reverse is found the stamped Bruckmann ‘train’ makers mark, followed by ’ALPAKA’ indicating heavy silver plate, and then the impressed number ‘242’ indicating the wagon number.
    The outstanding highlight of this tray is the huge Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle and Swastika motif, which is a whopping 2, 1/2 inches by 1, 1/2 inches (6.4cm x 3.8cm), much larger than the standard motif found on ‘normal’ train wagons, like Göring’s.

    This tray also contains a higher content of ‘silver plate’ weighing almost an extra 150g more than ‘normal’ trays.

    The ‘242’ tableware was relocated to its replacement cars, ‘244’ and ‘245’ in 1940, this magnificent piece would have continued in service untill the end of the war, and would have been utilised in the presence of Hitler whenever he was on board his train.
    Interestingly, these trays are referenced in Traudl Junge’s book ‘Hitler’s Last Secretary‘, She described “a small table had been laid for about six people in the Fuhrer’s saloon car. We were all standing in what little space the table left free. It was quite cramped, and the staff had to push their way past behind the chairs. It was all simple and casual. The orderlies and Linge (Hitler’s Valet) immediately brought in trays of dishes and platters. Linge served the Fuhrer creamed potatoes and fried eggs and put a glass of Fachinger mineral water by his plate. Hitler ate crisp-bread with his meal” (Text courtesy of James A. The opposite side of the ring has the impressed Bruckmann maker mark along with further hallmarks; a crescent moon, the imperial crown, the imperial eagle, and the silver purity mark ‘935’. The top and bottom of the ring have an impressed greek-key ‘Meander’ border.

    A fabulous Adolf Hitler Formal napkin used for the most formal of occasions when Hitler held VIP dinners and parties, most especially at his mountain retreat in Obersalzberg, The Berghof.
    The absolutely beautiful off-white coloured linen napkin has a lovely silky feel and displays a wonderful sheen effect which is brought to prominence by the interwoven patterns. The beautiful flowing ribbon and floral design cover the entire napkin, the ribbon travels around all sides set in from the edge by about 8cm, two flowers & foliage intersect the ribbon on each edge then four flowers are off-set inside the outer pattern, the design can be seen on the napkin reverse. A large stitched Fuehrer Adler (the Leader’s Eagle) clutching a wreathed Swastika which is flanked by Hitler’s initials ‘A’ & ‘H’  is situated inside the ribbon pattern to the lower right side (or left side depending on which way it is being held!).

    A large, heavy, and fabulous-looking, Adolf Hitler Informal tablecloth, typically used for everyday use at breakfast, lunch & dinner when Hitler was present at various places he frequented the most; the ‘Berghof’ (Hitler’s mountain home), ‘Kehlsteinhaus’ (the Eagle’s Nest), the ‘Gasthaus’ (Guest House) at Obersalzberg, the ‘Braune Haus’ (the ‘Brown House’), his ‘Prinzregentenplaz’ apartment in Munich, and the ‘Reichskanzlei’ in Berlin, but especially at his mountain retreat in Obersalzberg, The Berghof.
    The tablecloth is beige coloured and of a heavier linen material than the AH formal or even the Deutsche Reichsbahn types which you can also check out on our site. The tablecloth features a large white stitched Fuehrer Adler (the Leader’s Eagle) clutching a wreathed Swastika which is flanked by Hitler’s initials ‘A’ & ‘H’, it is situated inside a 10cm border accentuated by open white stitching and set to the lower right side (or left side depending on which way it is being held!).

    The design for the Fuehrer Adler is attributed to Adolf Hitler himself adding yet another level of desirable collectability to these pieces!

    An overall incredible cloth item used at more casual dining events, mainly at Hitler`s home, The Berghof, while alone or in the presence of his entourage, and even his dearly beloved Eva Braun.

    Condition:

    The tablecloth is in absolutely beautiful condition, has no rips or tears, and is very clean. Just some very minor marks, otherwise the expected cloth creases due to folding could be ironed out if so desired. The Fuehrer Adler looks spectacular.
