From 1935 to 1937, wagon number ’10 203′ was made available to Hitler as ‘the Leader`s Car’, and it fulfilled his needs as his private/personal wagon on which he slept, washed, and ate, it also boasted a dining table with seating for eight people where Hitler could have ‘business’ lunch or dinner with his Generals and political leaders, etc., It was later replaced by ’10 206′, which was to be Hitler`s private wagon until the end of the war. However, ’10 203′ was then listed as the “Fuhrer’s reserve company car”, which means that it could be used again for Hitler in the event that wagon number 10 206 failed, although it could be made available to other ministers or military personnel depending on the situation.

  • Adolf Hitler Informal Napkin from The Berghof (#4)Out of stock

Adolf Hitler Informal Napkin from The Berghof (#4)

Adolf Hitler Informal Napkin from The Berghof

A rather lovely Adolf Hitler Informal napkin typically used for everyday use at breakfast, lunch & dinner when Hitler was present at various places he frequented the most; the ‘Berghof’ (Hitler’s mountain home), ‘Kehlsteinhaus’ (the Eagle’s Nest), the ‘Gasthaus’ (Guest House) at Obersalzberg, the ‘Braune Haus’ (the ‘Brown House’), his ‘Prinzregentenplaz’ apartment in Munich, and the ‘Reichskanzlei’ in Berlin, but especially at his mountain retreat in Obersalzberg, The Berghof.
The napkin is beige coloured and of a heavier linen material than the AH formal or even the Deutsche Reichsbahn types which you can also check out on our site. The napkin features a large white stitched Fuehrer Adler (the Leader’s Eagle) clutching a wreathed Swastika which is flanked by Hitler’s initials ‘A’ & ‘H’, it is situated inside a 3cm border accentuated by open white stitching and set to the lower right side (or left side depending on which way it is being held!).

The design for the Fuehrer Adler is attributed to Adolf Hitler himself adding yet another level of desirable collectability to these pieces!

An overall incredible set used at more casual dining events, mainly at Hitler`s home, The Berghof, where this particular napkin came from.
A superb display and investment piece.

There are four such napkins available for sale, individually listed, also please watch out for the huge AH informal Tablecloth from the same collection coming to this site soon!

    Condition:

The napkin is in absolutely beautiful condition, has no rips or tears, and is very clean. Just some very minor marks most likely due to storage, otherwise the expected cloth creases due to folding which could be ironed out if so desired. The Fuehrer Adler looks spectacular.
