    Bruckmann Silver Dinner Fork from Hermann Göring’s Dining Wagon 10 ‘243’

    A lovely silver Bruckmann dinner fork, specially produced for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
    The fork carries designation marks for Hermann Göring’s Sonderzug ‘Asien’, and in particular carriage number ‘243’ which was Göring’s dining wagon.
    The fork handle is accentuated with a raised edge to obverse and reverse. The obverse features a fantastic and finely detailed Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle with wreathed Swastika straddled by the letters D and R all in relief to the bottom of the handle. To the reverse is found the stamped Bruckmann ‘train’ makers mark, followed by ’90’ indicating silver plate, and then the impressed number ‘243’ indicating the wagon number.

    Condition:

    A used item that displays surface marks and tiny scratches, otherwise a beautiful display piece and rare Göring DR utensil.

    Bruckmann Silver Dinner Knife from Hermann Göring’s Dining Wagon 10 ‘243’

    A lovely silver Bruckmann dinner knife, specially produced for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
    The knife carries designation marks for Hermann Göring’s Sonderzug ‘Asien’, and in particular carriage number ‘243’ which was Göring’s dining wagon.
    The handle is accentuated with a raised edge to obverse and reverse. The obverse features a fantastic and finely detailed Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle with wreathed Swastika straddled by the letters D and R all in relief to the bottom of the handle, and to the hilt is the ’90’ stamping for silver plate. To the reverse is found the impressed number ‘243’ indicating the wagon number, again at the hilt. The blade is stainless steel and carries the cartouche stamping ‘W’ for Gustav Wirth of Solingen-Graefrath over Nicht Rostend.

    Condition:

    A used item that displays surface marks and tiny scratches, a few tiny dings to the blade edge, the ‘3’ on ‘243’ worn slightly, otherwise a beautiful display piece and rare Göring DR utensil.

    Silver ‘Alpaka’ Round Side Dish from Hermann Göring’s Dining Wagon 10 ‘243’

    A fabulous little round side dish made from German heavy silver plate, ‘Alpaka’ produced by Bruckmann for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
    The plate carries designation marks for Hermann Göring’s Sonderzug ‘Asien’, and in particular carriage number ‘243’ which was Göring’s dining wagon.
    It is accentuated with a raised rolled band edge to the rim, a fantastic and finely detailed Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle with wreathed Swastika straddled by the letters D and R all in relief is centered to the upper front body just below the lip of the rim. To the underside is found the stamped Bruckmann ‘B’ along with a ‘locomotive’ makers mark, followed by ’ALPAKA’ indicating heavy silver plate, and then the impressed number ‘243’ indicating the wagon number.

    Condition:

    A used item that displays surface marks and scratches, otherwise superb condition, a beautiful display piece, and a great investment.

    Adolf Hitler Silver Formal Dinner Spoon from The Berghof

    A superb silver dining spoon from Adolf Hitler’s personal formal silverware, it features an embossed Fuehrer Adler (the Leader’s Eagle) clutching a wreathed Swastika which is flanked by Hitler’s initials ‘A’ & ‘H’. The reverse side of the fork has the impressed hallmarks; a crescent moon, the imperial crown, the silver purity mark ‘800′, and the imperial eagle. There is a fabulous impressed greek-key ‘Meander’ border along all edges of the front side of the fork handle.
    Originally there are believed to have been six complete sets of 500 pieces, 3,000 pieces in total, commissioned by Albert Speer and manufactured by Bruckmann in the ‘formal pattern’ of silver flatware and tableware presented to Hitler on the event of his 50th birthday on 20th April 1939. The formal silverware sets were distributed among the places Hitler frequented the most; the ‘Berghof’ (Hitler’s mountain home), ‘Kehlsteinhaus’ (the Eagle’s Nest), the ‘Gasthaus’ (Guest House) at Obersalzberg, the ‘Braune Haus’ (the ‘Brown House’), his ‘Prinzregentenplaz’ apartment in Munich, and the ‘Reichskanzlei’ in Berlin.

    The design for the AH Formal silverware is attributed to Adolf Hitler himself adding yet another level of desirable collectability to these pieces!

    A fabulous Adolf Hitler Formal napkin and napkin ring set used for the most formal of occasions when Hitler held VIP dinners and parties, most especially at his mountain retreat in Obersalzberg, The Berghof.
    The set comprises an absolutely beautiful off-white coloured linen napkin that has a lovely silky feel and displays a wonderful sheen effect which is brought to prominence by the interwoven patterns. The beautiful flowing ribbon and floral design covers the entire napkin, the ribbon travels around all sides set in from the edge by about 8cm, two flowers & foliage intersect the ribbon on each edge then four flowers are off-set inside the outer pattern, the design can be seen on the napkin reverse. A large stitched Fuehrer Adler (the Leader’s Eagle) clutching a wreathed Swastika which is flanked by Hitler’s initials ‘A’ & ‘H’  is situated inside the ribbon pattern to the lower right side (or left side depending on which way it is being held!).

    To finish the set is a quite superb silver napkin ring from Adolf Hitler’s personal formal silverware, it features a large embossed Fuehrer Adler (the Leader’s Eagle) clutching a wreathed Swastika which is flanked by Hitler’s initials ‘A’ & ‘H’. The opposite side of the ring has the impressed Bruckmann maker mark along with the further hallmarks; a crescent moon, the imperial crown, the imperial eagle, and the silver purity mark ‘935’. The top and bottom of the ring have an impressed greek-key ‘Meander’ border.
    Originally there are believed to have been six complete sets of 500 pieces, 3,000 pieces in total, commissioned by Albert Speer and manufactured by Bruckmann in the ‘formal pattern’ of silver flatware and tableware presented to Hitler on the event of his 50th birthday on 20th April 1939.     Large Silver Oval Serving Tray from The New Reich Chancellery

    A Fabulous, Large Oval Serving Tray made from German heavy silver plate produced by Wellner for the Third Reich.
    The tray is accentuated with a raised rounded band edge to the top rim and a Reich Chancellery (Reichskanzlei) motif engraved to one end of the tray surface in the form of a finely detailed large spread-winged eagle clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons, straddled by the letters R and K.
    To the opposite end of the tray is found the stamped ‘Wellner’ maker mark along with a circle underneath which displays the number ’75’ indicating the silver content.

    These Reich Chancellery items are becoming very hard to find and it’s best to snap them up when one does appear, this beautiful piece has been made available from a prestigious collection, there will be more items, including more trays coming from this collection soon.

    Bruckmann Silver Individual Gravy Boat from Hermann Göring`s Dining Wagon 10 ‘243’

    A Scarce Bruckmann Silver Individual Gravy Boat, specially produced for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
    The gravy boat is complete with its removable spill tray which still has the original “finger twist” locking nut to the base.
    The boat carries designation marks for Hermann Göring`s Sonderzug ‘Asien’, and in particular carriage number ‘243’ which was Göring`s dining wagon.
    This fabulous gravy boat is accentuated with a lovely scrolling handle, a rolled bowl rim edge, and a stepped oval foot. To the front and center of the bowl body (spout facing left ) is a large and finely detailed Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle with wreathed Swastika straddled by the letters D and R all in relief. The oval spill tray has a raised edge with, again, a lovely rolled edge. To the underside of the tray is found the stamped Bruckmann ‘B’  along with a locomotive symbol makers mark, followed by ’ALPAKA’ indicating heavy silver plate, and then the impressed number ‘243’ indicating the wagon number.

    These superb looking personal gravy boats are one of the most sought after Deutsche Reichsbahn silver pieces and rarely show up on the open market.
