NSDAP Formal Silverware Eggcup by Wellner #2
A fabulous silver plated eggcup by famous German silversmith Wellner. Used at formal gatherings and party meetings of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei). It is a lovely design, with a fluted body and weighted base. It displays a small engraved NSDAP Eagle & wreathed swastika centered to the upper front. To the reverse is found the maker mark ‘Wellner’, followed by a small circle with the number ‘2’, which indicates the silver content. A very rare, early, NSDAP Formal silver tableware piece.
Condition:
The eggcup is in near mint condition, it does display some minor surface marks, otherwise absolutley beautiful, a fabulous display piece. Super rare piece making for excellent investment potential.
