Small, Oval N.S.D.A.P. Serving Tray from the Deutscher Hof

A rare, silver plated small oval tray, produced by Gebruder Hepp Pforzheim, for the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei.
The tray is a solid oval shape, with a rolled outer rim, and shallow convex slope leading down to the flat tray. At one end of the tray is an engraved wreathed mobile swastika, the other end features the maker’s marking of “Gebruder Hepp Pforzheim”.
The Deutscher Hof was a favorite hotel in the early years of the NSDAP, and patronized by Adolf Hitler as well as other high-ranking NSDAP members and officials, this little tray goes way back to those early days, even before Hitler had his Führer’s balcony.
Because of it’s small size it was likely used to serve drinks to individuals or small groups at the hotel during meetings and events.
Condition:

The tray displays minor surface marks and scratches along with quite a lot of small dents and dings, indicating a lot of use, but overall it is in a good solid condition and displays very well. A rarer small serving tray from one of Hitler’s favourite hotels, Der Deutscher Hof. nice investment potential.
