    Silver ‘Alpaka’ Round Shallow Serving Bowl from Hermann Göring’s Dining Wagon 10 ‘243’

    A Lovely, round, and quite shallow serving bowl. Made from German heavy silver plate, ‘Alpaka’ produced by Bruckmann for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
    The platter carries designation marks for Hermann Göring’s Sonderzug ‘Asien’, and in particular carriage number ‘243’ which was Göring’s dining wagon.
    The bowl is accentuated with a raised rounded band edge to the top rim, a fantastic and finely detailed Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle with wreathed Swastika straddled by the letters D and R all in relief is centered to the outside body under the lip of the rim. To the underside is found the stamped Bruckmann ‘B’ along with a ‘locomotive’ makers mark, followed by ’ALPAKA’ indicating heavy silver plate, and then the impressed number ‘243’ indicating the wagon number.

    Bruckmann Silver Iced Beverage Spoon from Hermann Göring’s Guest Wagon 10 ‘233’

    A Fantastic example of this rare Bruckmann Iced Beverage Spoon, specially produced for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
    The long-handled spoon carries designation marks for Hermann Göring’s Sonderzug ‘Asien’, and in particular carriage number ‘233’ which was Göring’s guest wagon.
    The lower part of the handle is accentuated with a raised edge to obverse and reverse. The obverse features a rather more worn but still detailed Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle with wreathed Swastika straddled by the letters D and R all in relief to the bottom of the handle. To the reverse on the long stem is found the stamped Bruckmann ‘B’  along with a locomotive symbol makers mark, followed by ’90’ indicating silver plate, and then the impressed number ‘233’ indicating the wagon number.

    Bruckmann Silver Dinner Knife from Hermann Göring’s Dining Wagon 10 ‘243’

    A lovely silver Bruckmann dinner knife, specially produced for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
    The knife carries designation marks for Hermann Göring’s Sonderzug ‘Asien’, and in particular carriage number ‘243’ which was Göring’s dining wagon.
    The handle is accentuated with a raised edge to obverse and reverse. The obverse features a fantastic and finely detailed Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle with wreathed Swastika straddled by the letters D and R all in relief to the bottom of the handle, and to the hilt is the ’90’ stamping for silver plate. To the reverse is found the impressed number ‘243’ indicating the wagon number, again at the hilt. The blade is stainless steel and carries the cartouche stamping ‘W’ for Gustav Wirth of Solingen-Graefrath over Nicht Rostend.

    Nymphenburg Porcelain Soup Dish/Bowl from Hermann Göring’s Family Wagon 10 ‘205’

    Nymphenburg Porcelain Soup Dish/Bowl from Hermann Göring’s Family Wagon 10 ‘205’

    A quite superb porcelain Soup dish/bowl, specially produced by the Nymphenburg factory in Munich for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
    This one carries designation marks for Hermann Göring’s Sonderzug ‘Asien’, and in particular carriage number ‘205’, Hermann Göring’s family car, which was for use by his wife Emmy, and daughter Edda when they joined him for a trip.
    The highly glazed porcelain is accentuated with a single gold line trim to the outer rim. Centered to the top rim of the plate is the Deutsche Reichsbahn insignia, a gold eagle with wreathed swastika straddled by the letters D and R. To the underside is found the green Nymphenburg crest, a very lightly impressed Nymphenburg shield, and a hand-painted number ‘205’ in black indicating the wagon number.

    Nymphenburg Porcelain Eggcup from Hermann Göring’s Communication and Situation Wagon 10 ‘253’

    A beautiful little porcelain Eggcup, specially produced by the Nymphenburg factory in Munich for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
    The eggcup carries designation marks for Hermann Göring’s Sonderzug ‘Asien’, and in particular carriage number ‘253’ which was Göring’s Communication and Situation wagon.
    The highly glazed porcelain is accentuated with a fine red trim and even finer gold trim to the inside and top of the spout rim. The tiny base/foot of the jug also has red and gold trim, this time with the thin gold line to the top and the red underneath. Centered to the upper part of the eggcup body is the Deutsche Reichsbahn insignia, a gold eagle with wreathed swastika straddled by the letters D and R. There is no green Nymphenburg crest on the underside as the available area is too small, but there is an impressed Nymphenburg Shield to the inside rim, and a hand-painted number ‘253’ in black indicating the wagon number.
