NSDAP Formal Silverware Two Handled Sugar bowl by Wellner
A fabulous silver plated double handled sugar bowl by famous German silversmith Wellner. Used at formal gatherings and party meetings of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei). It is a lovely design, of the same style as several other NSDAP Formal silver pieces we currently have listed. It displays an engraved NSDAP Eagle & wreathed swastika centered to the upper front. To the base is found the maker mark ‘Wellner’, followed by 25cl, which means it will hold 250 mills (or in this case gramms) and then a small circle with the number ’14’, which indicates the silver content. A very rare, early, NSDAP Formal silver tableware piece.
Condition:
The sugar bowl is in near mint condition, it does display some minor surface marks, otherwise absolutley beautiful, a fabulous display piece. Super rare piece making for excellent investment potential.
